08/16/2019 - 08/18/2019 Day Trip to Devil's Tower National Monument

We had a great roadtrip to Devil's Tower National Monument in Wyoming; a day of just driving around looking at some awsome scenery. I'm constantly amazed at the beauty God has created all around us and the seemingly endless variety of it. Here are some photos but they really don't do it justice. The scenery along the drive alone made the trip to Devils Tower worthwhile.

And then our first look at Devil's Tower National Monument from miles away.

And here's one as we got a little closer

Somehow I don't recall having quite this nice of a backdrop when I was working the fields.

And Here's our view at the park entrance - Its even more impressive when you're there...

And of course, from inside the park.

Then Again, I can't leave out my new buddies -- The pararie dogs....

They're were scattered all over a large field - here's a picture of one end of it.

And l here's one last photo from our drive home. This was a daytrip we really enjoyed....

    Saturday & Sunday, 08/17/2019 - 08/18/2019

Over the weekend we opted to leave the sightseeing to the weekenders and catch up on the more fun stuff like laundry, cleaning in the RV, and exciting stuff like that. For more excitement I pulled some fish out of the freezer and we had a private fish fry with homade hush-puppies on Saturday evening and then grilled up some ribs for Sunday supper.

Next week - On to more exploring around Mt. Rushmore.  Until then,
God Bless & Count your blessings, then enjoy every one of them as much as you can. You will find that there are more of them than you think when you actually take a few minutes to stop to count them.

Bye for Now,  It's time to start munching on those ribs.....  Ron H.
