      Debbie/Dave Look closely at the info and reviews on the different campground/famcamps.  Not all are large RV friendly even though the website will say they are.  Some are too small. Ive stayed at both.

    Hello all, it has been several years since I stayed at a military campground. I am wondering if there are more pro's vs con's stay at the military campgrounds. We are interested in your thoughts.

      billn They are comparable to KOAs. Some are much nicer. Some are roomier. The cost much less. The nearby commissary, Exchanges/Food Courts/fuel stations are convenient and less expensive, too. Famcamps are a great option.

      Gary & Edi Koss I try to stay at Famcamps when I can and like with a lot RV parks not all are equal, some are better than others,some are newer and have better facilities than older ones have. Being retired military it kinda feels like coming home.
