    Breakfast for supper this eve. "Dutch Babies" pancake baked in the cast iron frying pan then served with melted butter, powdered sugar and fresh squeeze of lemon............ COMFORT food !!

        Elizabeth Rose Kirner Colombo The pot with the carrots is stock I made with the giblets for gravy. The other pot has the beginnings of my dressing, onions, celery, seasoning and butter. Make my own cranberry sauce and we did the bird in our mini green egg.

    So as a foodie, I have to admit that two entire cabinets are filled with herbs and spices in glass containers. How have others of you figured out a consistent system for keeping them in plastic instead of glass.

      FPOOLE Yah, the big kits have or include the spices, stuff I've never heard of before... in foil packets...  The 40 tube one would hold a few...

      Cajunville (John & Laurie) Place unglazed tiles on the bottom of oven. Have been using them for 10 years and no problem baking. They disperse the heat more evenly. Some use a pizza stone, we just prefer the tiles. They are 4x4, bought them at Lowe's
