June 15We just got back from a week with the grands at TT Lake Whitney. It was great. If you're going there be aware that they have turned the adult pool into a family pool which thoroughly ticks me off! And, that pool is not available. But the larger pool wasn...  more

June 14Maybe the answer is obvious, but here is my question. We “homebase” in the Midwest, southwest Iowa specifically, as our children still reside there. Are there no TT campgrounds close, no matter how many “add-ons” we purchase?

    • Greg Albertus
Computerguy (the INNOCENT one) June 14 Correct, no TT parks there. Closest is eastern WI. RPI has a park in Rapid City but that's still $10 at least (maybe RPI contract specific on price. I don't have RPI so can't really say). Here's their map:

John And Debbie Maxson June 15 Your right maybe they should market that area. Are there many RV parks around ?
    • Greg Albertus
Scott and Jackie Cundiff June 15 As Computerguy says, nothing at all in Iowa - you may have to be logged in to your TT account (not sure) but here's a link to a map of all the properties:   https://www.thousandtrails.com/explore-campgrounds/mapsearch

Ole Hoss & the Newf June 16 Hi Jack n Bob n Laura; two or three fold reasons for our Travel Window closing - at least for us... The first and main reason is due to the available routes from our home in Sun CIty/North Peoria, at this time of year, to the Pacific Northwest.&nbs...  more

June 4Hi everyone! I have a question about zones.

XC2 June 4 When my camping pass renewed this year, so automatically did the additional zone I purchased. I was told that I could drop the additional zone as long as I did so before renewal. Also, don't hold me to this, but I think you can do a one time transfer from...  more

JustWandering June 5 Thanks - this is what I was assuming would happen, but it's so hard to get a solid answer from sales people.  Still a great deal for full-timers!
    • JustWandering
Tink & Chuck June 4 I agree with the above comment. Check with the resale opportunity with Kim and Chad. For what you're looking to pay for an area, they can get you all areas with extras.

Halfloaf June 4 I don't think the two year commitment is solid as a requirement. You can buy it online for one year. And as has been mentioned, the zones are year-to-year but you do have to cancel them before they renew or you are stuck with them for another year. Same f...  more

John And Debbie Maxson June 5 Agree we renew yearly can drop and add zones for around 59.00. Pay your yearly fee we added trails collection again for our second time price increased some this year. We pay auto payment monthly. Renew before your set date. Have fun if you travel a lot ...  more

Barbara and Chris Walker May 25 We are here now. We are down by the beach where there are 8 sites all of which have 50 amp but one is 30 amp.  This place is so spread out. It seems well maintained. The pool area is nice.

Barbara and Chris Walker May 25 Mike and Joan S, there is a lake there and you can rent a canoe. There are people fishing on it at all times of the day. There are trails on Natchez Trace Rd. You can swim in the lake or the pool. And they have activities for the young ones.
