Are the fires affecting Soledad Canyon or Wilderness?
    • December 7
    • Johnnyboy
Tahiti16 The fires are quite a ways away from both and wind is expected to keep blowing in the same direction which is away from them.
    • Johnnyboy
SilentKnight We will be heading to Wilderness Lakes on Monday so I pulled up the following map and just like Tahiti16 states above, they are moving away. Note that the map even shows the coverage of drifting smoke.

Halfloaf I'm right down the highway at an Encore resort between two houses. It seems very sedate and safe though. And I can't even see their sewer connections lolololol.

Ellen & Dan How sad, I know you will enjoy the beach.  If you like seafood we found a good little place on Flager Beach, Golden Lion.  We are in Ormond Beach at Sunshine Holiday

We would appreciate comments from anyone who stayed at TT Bear Cave RV Campground 4085 Bear Cave Road Buchanan, Buchanan, MI this past summer. We are considering staying there in late June, 2018... Is it Big Rig Friendly?

The Swifts I saw no problem getting big rigs in or out of Bear Cave when we were there in 2016. The entrance road was rough when we arrived during a downpour but they regraded it a couple of days later. The entrance road is poorly marked so slow down when the GPS sa...  more

BobandKaren It’s a nice park. As noted by the Swift’s, the entrance looks like a driveway. They were big rig friendly and the sites were not too close together. We enjoyed our stay there.
    • Carl & Tina Bender
Kevin&RobinG It’s an awful park! We drove thru there before moving our 45’ Motorcoach and it’s a darn good thing we did. NO way would we stay there! Low hanging limbs, tight corners, small sites and just plain rundown looking. We’d heard it was a dump. That person was right!

The Swifts We were fortunate to find a site that was easy to back in with our 35' travel trailer. Though we had plenty of room, I agree many sites would be a challenge. We didn't use the facilities and would stay there again if we had business in the area.

Karen and Jim Samples The grounds in Las Vegas do not qualify for the title of a resort, preserve or campground. Maybe a parking lot or dump. We will never stay there again. Some pkaces are just too depressing and the Las Vegas TT is just that.
    • Wayne and Lynn
sandy gelnaw No one I know goes to Las Vegas to go "camping". Yes it's a park & plug in place for your rv; but most people are there for the Vegas Strip. If you want camping, I highly recommend Lake Mead National Park. It's a lot further away from the action,...  more
