Carl and Brenda I agree that many RV parks have scheduled jam sessions, where anyone is welcome to join, at any skill level. It is all about having fun. And Open Mic sessions where I play in AZ have a back up band--the West Valley Country Music Association hosts several....  more

Nathan and Ashley My main instrument is the sax, which I have played professionally in the past but now just for fun (but I'd be more than willing to play some gigs if that comes up).  I've been playing the mandolin lately, and I can sit in with a group, but I'm just ...  more

Just a note - for all guitarists - if you ever get up to Allentown, PA be sure to take the factory tour at CF Martin in Bethlehem! If you’ve got list price you can buy direct from the factory....

Ron & Jane Richard, I agree. It's a great tour. But, it's in Nazareth, PA  (510 Sycamore St.
Nazareth, PA 18064). :)  Also, beware of the little room full of sweet guitars at the end of the tour. You may go home with a new guitar.

Richard Lang Thanks for putting in the address - there aren’t many RV parks in the area. And that little room at the end - I used it to reaffirm the wisdom of buying the HD28 I already have....

Dave'sWife What kind of music. We're in NM, Albuquerque has a lot of music jams. Snowbirds are all heading south and lots are musicians albeit slightly older. There are young musicians in the Tucson area as I remember but not necessarily RVING.

ahajbe Although I have no idea how to do it, maybe we could set up a YouTube page where we could all perform songs that we know and post them. Although it wouldn't be a jam it would give us a chance to get to know each other and hear each other's music.
