    Hi all. We just joined your group. My wife and I are planning to go to southern Texas this winter. We live in Iowa and spend about four months through the winter not being in Iowa. We move around a lot so I am sure you will have some good information.

      Brian&Nadine We did make a quick trip through Texas a couple of years ago. We stayed in Palacios, Port Aransas and on the beach in Corpus Christi before we started west. This year we want to check out the area south of Corpus Christi (where it is warm)?

      Dave and Doris My brother had a residential refrigerator put in his Monaco Beaver.  Classic Coach Works in Ormond Beach Florida did a great job.   Their website has a lot of pictures of their work hope this helps.  http://www.classiccoachworks.com/

    I would suggest that you visit an AT&T store. We had our tailgater set up at our RV site in Harlingen, Texas. After the setup, we were able to access help over the phone.

    We are in W&I Resort in Mission, TX. Great resort with lots of friendly people. We stay busy with a few of the local bands. Jim is a drummer and this is when he gets his drumming fix. 😂😂

    I lived in Missouri the last 12 year's in a rural area and fought snow and ice the 30 miles to work in the winter. I come to Texas this winter and it snows! It hasn't done that here since 2004. Good news is not much snow on the palm trees and grapefruit trees.

      MH283 At Paradise Park we have free WiFi in the RV section, but you are able to get your own very high speed internet at your site. We are one of the few parks to offer this.

      MaryAnnWendland In other times, I would tell you that Port Aransas is a wonderful idea. How about South Padre? Beautiful beaches and great food. A true South Texas experience.

      FLitters You should probably avoid the upper TX coast this year. It is pretty well destroyed right now. Port Isabel and South Padre are great as is the Rio Grande Valley.
