MH283 Thanks, we may head to Florida next year, planning to relocate there full time after wintering in Texas for years. Our daughter took a position in Sarasota, so we want to be closer to her. We will then travel in summer.

Bruce & Linda (Omnibus) There are a couple of RV parks in Ionia, but that’s probably not far enough north.  One of our favorite RV Parks is the Tiki on the north end of St. Ignace, but only a few spots for larger rigs.  Love the U.P.; it just feels different up there.

Some of my favorites are Mack Lake, Horseshoe Lake, Hemlock Lake, Island Lake, Wagner Lake (Huron Manistee National Forest) Big Bear Lake, Ess Lake, Goose Lake, Lake Margrethe, L...  moreYou're in luck. I just did research on campgrounds that have lakeside sites. You can look these up on the internet to see how many campsites there are and what kind of fishing and swimming there is. These campgrounds are very inexpensive.  less

Dal and Diane Wenger Wakefield MI in the UP has a great city lake called Sunday Lake with an RV park on it and kayak rentals on site. Great friendly town and pretty lake! Highly recommend!
