      SACnFrau You might consider boondocking occasionally to save on campsite fees, especially in western states. Lots of boondocking info via YouTube & Google search. Safe travels!

    Good morning! We are officially 39'6"; 2016 Bay Hill 5th wheel. We also have a 2017 Ford F-350, dually. Looking forward to going full-time. This is our year of firsts! First RV ever, first truck ever! Also first time camping! And my DH is retiring May 31st!!

      Bill Joyce (and Diane Melde) CA11 is very curvy and so is CA20 from Fort Bragg to US101.  I don't think you will enjoy the trip since you will be concentrating on the road too much.  I would do CA1 with the Jeep on day trips when you have time off.

        CharlieMartha We looked at Monaco when we first started searching for a Class A. We never found one that had the floor plan we wanted. Great coaches though.

        CharlieMartha Than you, we have been part timing in various RV's for almost 20 years now. Of late our adventures have been longer and longer so that we could get used to the idea of full timing. It didn't take much convincing...lol
