Our simple put in a new sofa and recliner project turned into a major project! Ripped out the old carpet and replaced it with solid core vinyl plank, took out dinette booth and replaced with table and chairs, added LED 12V and 115V over dinning table. Whe...  more

BobKathy95 Aaah - the joys of Rv ownership (LOL). Vinyl planks was definitely the way to go..Also, putting the metal corner/edge guards around the slide was smart thinking. It will surely prevent repair issues in the future. Hide 1 Reply

Sometimes it is the little things that feel like a major accomplishment.

Having an intermittent (best kind, right?) problem with the Dometic electric awning on retract. It will close partway then stop. It won’t move in or out for a couple of minutes. What’s going on with that?

Hoffie Sounds like the motor may have a thermal switch which is kicking out. I would try putting some lube on the arm joints to see if that solves the problem first.

Big Red mine will do that when I'm using the remote if I use the button inside it works perfectly Following

red951 This was paneling I found at Lowes. Looks pretty realistic even up close. Lightweight and thin enough to use. The remainder I'm going to use as skirting under the bed instead of painting the wood there
