I am almost thinking this is just a motorhome group, I have a 2004 Wilderness 5th wheel, and had a couple questions but not sure this is the right group.

Charlie S It says fleetwood RV KIB, I don’t know about the sensers yet, it looks like they are the plugs with a screw in the center

Steve & Rebecca Hall Charlie, a little out side of my knowledge because of the age on this unit. But the points of failure are always the same, power first, the sensors themselves and then the display panel. Just a process of elimination. I’d still start with FW and see if t...  more

JC & Gloria Sensors always die.  You can tell when the black tank gets full because the stool will burp when you flush.  The grey tank is full when the shower won't drain. I have no idea what a domestic is.

Dennis and Connie Can you get one of those. Tank wands down the toilet and flush the sides that way?

Charlie S I have one Dennis, a high pressure wash wand, and I used the tank sensor chemical also, but no change. Thinking about when it warms back up of going under the unit a loosen/tighten the sensor screws to see if they just have a little corrosion on the conne...  more

Charlie S JC, domestic is refered to here as the clear water in the drinking water tank, as in domestic water from the city.

Mike/Sandy Swoverland Took your advice Steve and Rebecca and Murray. they did not ask for vin only model. After two times calling they emailed me the blue prints of where the tank was. He said I would have to remove a plate to get to the drain valve. It was located under the g...  more

BobKathy95 With the slides open - check all of your vents. The "return" vents will have a foam filter in them. Just remove and clean and then re-install. I think our 2013 Expedition had 4 to 6 of them.
    • Richard & Karen Stevens
Larry Raisanen On our 2015 pounder each of the AC louvers are split that is with two covers. One of the covers can be easily removed by rotating a setscrew. So 1/2 of the two filters can be removed. Not sure how to remove the other half w/o removing the entire cover.

Moto-Treks I’ve not worked on or even really looked at my jacks but, if in manual mode, none of the jacks go down then I’d guess it’s the pump. Maybe a clogged inlet line. Just a guess
    • David & Carol McIlrath
The Story's I had a problem with 1 or 2 jack's not going down. It ended up being the solenoid.

Fred & Jeannette Morris Sometimes that is the easy solution. I wonder if the "gears" might be misaligning on opposing ends? Perplexing.
    • coastingwiththekennedys
BobKathy95 Every so often they go out of alignment and the motors will automatically shut down as a safety feature. Best guess - that is all you need to have done is a realignment of the motors/slides.
    • coastingwiththekennedys
Harv & Jeannette We have a 2012 Expedition with a full length slide. If the coach isn’t pretty close to level the slide won’t retract or extend.
    • coastingwiththekennedys
Sedler's I had the problem with one slide on my 05 Expedition. I had to replace the slide switch in the control console to fix the problem. Being out of level can cause a problem, but it sounds more like the switch.

We own a 2010 40G Fleetwood Discovery. When disconnected from shore power the inverter does not power up the ac outlets in the coach. Does anyone have any ideas? We just changed out the batteries. So maybe something to do with that?

hoffygolf Batteries check them to make sure they have power (house batteries), if they are good check breakers, if they are good check fuses, if they are good, find a mobile repair or a shop that works on inverters. Good Luck

Lori Hunter Erickson Follow up post...  as most know there is usually a reason for blown fuses.   As in this case, one of our two inverters had gone bad and had to be replaced.   As you can imagine, not a cheap fix.
