August 27While traveling through KY we saw a pickup truck with big vinyl lettering all over it. Bible crap! The tailgate said “Jesus is coming and he’s angry!” We immediately had our minds in the gutter. Our new running joke is Jesus cums angry!

July 11Last week we got to the town of St. Peter's, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. Right away we noticed all of the pride flags. They were everywhere, including the fishing boats. Down at the canal locks I asked about all of the pride flags. The lady renting s...  more

Mary and Rollie July 11 I wanted to go there last summer while we were working in ME but we only occasionally had 3 days off in a row. We made it to St. John, NB, which we enjoyed. We needed another day. If 2020 is like 2016 we should all move there.

Bruce & Linda (Omnibus) July 11 St. Peter’s sounds like a place we have to visit.  Thanks for sharing.

Marcia and Dave July 9 Night and day! The people in Alaska are concerned about the environment and saving ecosystems. They are so friendly, they don’t care where you are from or what you look like. They love their land and will do everything they can to preserve it, because the...  more

Mary and Rollie July 10 We spent 16 months in AK in 2016-2017. I love the people! They are open minded, don’t care what you look like or are wearing, everybody is treated the same. I love the bumper sticker I saw several times: “Alaska, where men are men and women are men too.” ...  more

Diana & Michael July 11 I lived in Alaska for 15 years. Regarding the high men to women ratio outside of the major towns, my favorite bumper sticker was: the odds are good but the goods are odd. True enough!

Myo (The EASY One) July 10 Why do we bite our tongues? I don’t see any evidence that they hold back. Actually, some of my friends and I show each other mutual respect and either keep quiet or avoid controversies. However, most in this blood red state are not so considerate. Even th...  more
