I just bought a really nice 1996 RoadTrek 190 but have decided, since I also want to use it as my personal vehicle, I should have stuck with my original plan of buying 170 . Anyone care to swap?

Roberta H I think you are right. The only reason I want a shorter one is that I want mine to do triple duty as a mobile office and personal vehicle driving around town.

Gone_Feral (was LPS) If it's any help, I drove a 190 for a year and found that it fits perfectly into a normal parking space, is easy to parallel park, and is no more difficult to drive than my previous trucks and vans. You can easily use it to drive every day. The only has...  more

TimothyP Thanks for that... I am interested in an RT for more full time travel... Do you also have an opinion on the 210? Hide 1 Reply

Gone_Feral (was LPS) I have an opinion on EVERYTHING ;-) The 210 is nice because it's wider, but...it's wider. The full-timers I've met who have one pretty much universally love it. I skipped a class and ended up with a CS Adventurous XL, which is 24 ft long and a "wee bit...  more

Vikki NPaul Rogers I cannot recommend any since I have not tried any.  I cycle and I am beginning to see It used by many different cyclist.    See if you can find a local dealer and ask lots of questions about how hard is it to mount, can you lift your ebike ...  more

dougwyo 1st thing to consider is the weight of your bike--We have two 60 pound electric bikes and the Hollywood Electric Bike rack is the best for the weight.  However, it blocks the back doors of my Sprinter RS.  You can search swing away bike racks an...  more

I am new here. I am a wanna be RoadTrek owner. It will have to be older and I would like a Popular 170. Probably in the 1994 -2002 range, less than 100,000 miles. I am posting here hoping I can get some leads on anyone who has one for sale.

Has anyone been able to clean and adjust the burner assembly in a dometic fridge from an older model without taking the fridge out of it's home? Doesn't seem to be enough room to get to it from outside door.

Di deC I have a Zero G hose. I love it. It rolls up when cold, is sort-of collapsible and takes up very little room for storage. I've had it over a year with no leaks or tears.
