    Hi, I joined the Navy in 1958 and retired in 1980 with the with the rank of ETCM. Stationed on the USS Koiner DER 331 in 1960-61, USS Samual N. Moore DD747 in 1966-67, USS Constellation CVA 64 1971 -74, USS South Carolina CGN 37 1978-80.

    Just read this about USS Enterprise. Spent workups onboard with VAQ-133  before getting out in 82. Then she ran aground near SF bridge after that deployment. Anyone else serve aboard the Big E?

      Corvallis Campers I flew off the Big E in an SH-3A Seaking SAR Det. back in 67/68 in the GOT covering the strikes up north. Picked up a F-4 Phantom crew off the USS Coral Sea who got wet in some islands NE of Haiphong.

      Steve&Tina Not sure when you were aboard the Acadia in 89 but we were alongside in the Sea of Oman for repairs during a deployment to the Persian Gulf aboard the USS Towers (DDG-9) in Early 1989.
