PartTimeRV I run diesel fuel and get 8 cents off per gallon at Flying J.  We have usually found a Good Sam park wherever we go.  Have not had to use towing or roadside yet.  It pays for itself quickly.  Wish I had it when I needed a tow.  Wo...  more Hide 1 Reply

Micheal and Diane Whelan How do those work? I tried our card a couple of times last year but found they were not honored. I figured they must be for specific places.

Somerlidh There are some "stores" that are independently owned and those do not honor the discount.

JnCWestHo The renewal rate is "always" higher. The fine print says "for new members" or something like that. The GS clerk told us to let it expire and a couple days later buy a new plan at the reduced rate. Doesn't sound ethical but that was her advise.

Curt & Isabel In some states, GS ESP is the only option available (after the dealer sale). I found this out last week when I went shopping for rates on ESP's. There are 9 states that don't allow direct sale ESP's, unfortunately CA is 1 of them. Also Idaho. Got this fro...  more Hide 4 Replies

Steve & Diane Wholesale Warranties is located in CA and can be purchased directly from Wholesale Warranties (not the dealer) at the time of sale or thereafter.  In our case, we purchased our extended warranty 2+ years after we purchased our rig.
      • zalee
Curt & Isabel WW also told us they could not sell us direct because we live in CA.

Steve & Diane Interesting... WW can't sell to someone who lives in the same state in which WW is located.  Sounds goofy, but then again it's CA.
      • zalee
Curt & Isabel Could not agree with you more. Sometimes we ponder buying a LLC from a state with no state taxes or restrictions, like purchasing a ESP directly. :S

Bandit455 I would think this would do it. One thing sticking in my mind, is you did this before, resolved the issue, and it returned. I would seriously consider replacing the hose, maybe it some became contaminated. But that is really a guess.

The East's We did everything suggested again. We have been out in it twice since then and so far, so good. Right now it’s in storage for the winter, so we won’t be absolutely sure everything is taken care of until next spring.

Raymond and Melinda We once bought a hose that was advertized as a safe drinking water hose. It had a bad taste, and we could not get rid of the taste. We bought a new hose and that solved the problem.
