Mike&Beth We do, but we go to Apache Junction, Az. My husband was an electrician and he works two days in the park and we don't pay for anything. It's a great way to save money and still have fun.

Krons Been full-time for almost five years, and volunteer year round in Oregon. We don't mind the rain, and often spend part or all of winter on the coast. All depends on what suits you. Best wishes on your big adventure!

David & Leslie Yes, we just got home from our fourth winter in the southeastern states... mostly in Yuma three of those winters.  Our house-sitter said this past winter was a whopper... as was the prior winter - both very cold and snowy.

Claude & Theresa You can stay at many of the wonderful Washington state parks, there are quite a few in the sound area. We love to stay at Fort Casey, small campground right on the water and the ferry to Port Townshend.

Rocinante Clallam county parks (Dugneness Spit and Salt Creek) are wonderful places to camp on the Olympic Peninsula. http://www.clallam.net/Parks/OvernightFacilities.html
