Here's an interesting question..We have a 2012 Big Horn 3455RL. While using water, the hot just stops running. My husband will open the pressure relief valve and that will solve the problem - temporarily. Or....if we wait a while - like 15 or 20 minutes -...  more

Billthedoc This sounds like an air lock problem. You need a small amount of air in the hot water tank to allow the water to expand when it is heated, or the heater won’t allow cold water to flow in until it cools down. Adding air to the tank will help - shut off the...  more

Billthedoc Oh, and (blush) I have accidentally knocked the valves when I overloaded the cargo bin too high and drove like a madman to get to my next booked stop. That also is a cause.

Brim (Brian & Kim) Baskin Thanks for your reply, but no, the shop forgot to give is our paperwork and manual, and we forgot to ask. I tried going on line for tech support, and spoke to tech support too, all they said was to come in for service.

So, this trip we're getting strong gasoline fumes whenever we stop moving and, of course, it sets off the propane/co detector.

Corvallis Campers Something we noticed early in our MH ownership is that the pump does not engage if the system is already pressurized by external water source. When you tried the pump were you disconnected from external water supply? Hide 1 Reply
