      Jerome Jankowski I would start back at the battery and make sure it doesn't have a internal open. You could connect some jumper cables to the battery and momentarily touch the black and red clamps together on the other end of the cables and see if you get a good spark/ark...  more

      Steve and Donna Yes, that is a very common failure. Lowe’s and Home Depot sells replacements. They just screw off and back on.

You need a small amount of air in the hot water tank to allow the water to expand when it is heated, or the heater won’t allow cold water to flow in until it cools down.
