So glad I found Texans on here. I was born in Houston, raised in Fortworth. We moved down to RockPort to raise our 4 kiddos. Now we travel all over with hubbies job. But home is and will always be in Texas.

Mark&Sheri I think you are talking about East View Ranch.  Great RV park run by a retired Navy.  Very nice, small place with friendly people. Hide 2 Replies

Tom & Theresa You might look at campgrounds around Round Rock Tx. It's north of Austin. Here is the link for one that is near Dell Diamond Baseball park. http://www.wcosa.org.

Ken Kriepke Nothing more, thanks.  I go to Austin for the music. I know several bands that are based there.  La Hacienda is part of the coast-to-coast network that I am in so it doesn't cost me much per night, but stays are limited to 2 weeks or so.
    • Ken Kriepke
Mark&Sheri If La Hacienda is your cheaper option, you are very lucky. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. We had no discount and I would still stay there again.
    • Ken Kriepke
Lynn and Donna L We spent a couple of months in Colorado Landing RV Park in LaGrange and really enjoyed it. It is about an hour's drive into Austin and close to other smaller towns.
    • Ken Kriepke
Ken Kriepke Well, I will stay at LaHacienda, but I am limited to 2 weeks because of the membership so I will look at other places including Colorado Landing and probably wind up at Lone star :)
