      Gary & Edi Koss Our local RV club has had our Christmas party there the last few years and find it to be very nice, fun place for a group of friends to meet.

      Don & Linda G We have stayed at Buckhorn and it nice. They have a separate side for Adults Only. The park has catch and release fishing. The back of the park has casitas that belong to individuals that sometimes rent out their sites. Kerrville is a nice city also.

    We are headed to Lake Ray Roberts-Johnson Creek in our 43 ft 5th wheel over Mother's Day. Then we're headed to Lake Bob Sandlin over the 4th of July in our 32 ft deer camp 5th wheel. (the 43 ft won't fit) Anyone have any good advice.

      Hank & Shirleen I am with you! Don’t remember it being this dang soggy for so long. And no real rain here in San Antonio! We put solar in last year and this ain’t helping it! Maybe that’s the reason. Was hoping to see some return on investment, but not with this weather....  more Hide 1 Reply

        MsFreebird I was talking to someone who knows a couple that lives in our RV park that have solar power. Their electric bill was $4 and change last month. So there must be some sunshine sometime LOL

        MsFreebird I have been in Mission Texas this winter. It's snowed a little before Christmas but not really bad. The people told me it hadn't snowed down here since 2009. The good news is all the mosquitoes and flies aren't near as bad LOL

    So glad I found Texans on here. I was born in Houston, raised in Fortworth. We moved down to RockPort to raise our 4 kiddos. Now we travel all over with hubbies job. But home is and will always be in Texas.
