July 3Dear vegan RVers can you suggest a good 12volt blender for rv use? I have a vitamix at home, but want an rv option, thanks in advance.

DeSanti Explorers July 4 S &L, thanks for the response, I know the vitamix pulls a giant dose of energy, so I'm looking for another lower energy use option that can still do a good job when we boondock, and rely on solar.😁

DeSanti Explorers July 4 Bruce and Linda, thank YOU also, for your friendly reply.  We do a little shorepower camping, but not very much.  So, we'll try to set up for 12V stuff mostly, if we can.   Very kind regards, happy trails.

david h aka Claus July 4 I spent almost an hour reading after doing the search 'truck driver blender' and could not find any 12 volt blenders. There are mostly recommendations for the 'bullet' type blenders. It seems to be because the inverter size can be less, therefore there is...  more

DeSanti Explorers July 4 Hi Claus,  Thank you for the friendly support, and the time to investigate.  I think a bullet type blender should be fine, 12V.  I don't want to go to heroic efforts for this.  No need.  And, my goodness, I read that discussion th...  more

david h aka Claus July 6 I don't know if it is any good, the name is respected, but here's a 12V blender.

June 30I enjoy eating but not so much cooking when we are on the road. If I can find a Trader Joe's I think I've died and gone to heaven. Jackfruit Crab cakes make the best Fish Tacos. Their Beef less Beef Crumbles make a decent regular taco or Taco Salad. Hint,...  more

Al &Joyce July 9 Agree completely. Eating out is close to impossible since no chef seems to be able to make anything without a cup of oil. There are a ton of vegan restaurants in Vegas now, but hardly a healthy dish among them all.

Dirty Rotten Racklefrack! April 9 Our rule as plant based / whole food eaters is no flesh, no fish, no fowl. We don't drink milk, we don't eat eggs, but we will occasionally indulge in a little sprinkle cheese now and then and sashimi only rarely, hence calling them our cheats :)

Neda Joest July 1 I think there's a difference between plant based eaters and vegans. A Vegan for ethical reasons wouldn't cheat. And that's why we don't cheat .... it would never cross my mind. 😉
