Another salvo in litter box location discussion......

I have a little 23' bumper pull trailer, so not a lot of excess room. Up to now, I have kept the litter box in the bathroom in front of the sink, and I move it into the entryway at night and when I n...  more

Steve & Diane Consider putting a flat, rubber cover over the drain hole.  ... like the type one might use in the sink when doing the dishes.
    • SouthParkSteve
LarandSus I would be concerned about the litter columns in the tank too. I have up a washer dryer to use that closet for the litter box. I'm assuming you don't have that option. This is the litter mat that Ive used for about 10 years. It captures litter well in the...  more

Bob & Barbara McLean Do you have storage under seats? That's where we keep our litter box - our bunkhouse has a table with two "benches" and storage under them. There's a pullout "door" which we leave open for the kitties.

Carol Hutton I had to buy a smaller covered box, to put it under the table.. The only way that works, is because I use pine pellets litter. It always just smells like pine..Wesley will come in just to use his box. He's a funny boy. He does love being in the drawer and...  more

Well, our “new” 19 year old turned out to be a great traveler during our first trip of the year at the beginning of the month. She was as calm as could be.
All 3 actually got along rather well.

Bob & Barbara McLean Just curious how your three get along - we also have three and our oldest, Lulu, gets along with both the other two but they won't have much to do with each other. Our poor Mary, the youngest, isn't included in the snuggles. Just curious if that's normal ...  more

BennieH All 3 of ours prefer to be away from the others doing their own thing. They get along, but do not snuggle up together. Louis (the tabby) is best described as an 11yr old kitten. He drive the other 2 crazy because he would rather be chasing and rough housing.

Thanks to an untimely ill-placed hairball incident, we'll be spending some Rally One time at the camp laundry. Ahhh cats :). Luckily it's right next to the vendor area so we can shop while we wait for dryer time.

Okietravellers I prefer kittens when they are someone’s else, for me an older cat has already done all those destructive things kittens and puppies do & a lot of times become to old to relocate as people prefer younger? That’s only my opion:)

Dottie and Terry Cameron An adult cat will be easier to deal with in most cases. We started with a 17 year old, 2 14 year old and 2 were 10. 10. And the 17 (at 19), the 14 (at 16 and both 10 year olds have passed. We adopted 2 sisters at 2 years old and 6 years later got a 6 mont...  more

Morning. We have enjoyed being a member of this group. Unfortunately both our babies, Noel and Missy Elliot have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. So we will say goodbye and safe travels. Enjoy your kitties.

SouthParkSteve They are both fixed, but Tesla (my sister's cat) was a barn cat, so not exactly tame.  She is a bit schizophrenic.....she will let you pet her and purr for about a minute or two, then she turns around and swats you hard enough to draw blood.....more

Okietravellers She is real pretty, barn cats are not usually used to people and some never out grow it. Thomas is always around and he walks with rascal and dad every morning, goes up to people but doesn’t like to be petted?

Bob & Barbara McLean As cute as that is it would scare me to have my girls in there. We've seen too many dogs not on a leash and I'd be scared one of the cats would scratch her way out. We have a cat stroller and Mary, our youngest, managed to squeeze through a side part wher...  more
