    April 7Recently stayed at the Santee/Santee Lakes KOA in South Carolina. Overpriced, uneven sites, no cable, and unless you are on the street with the bath house/ restrooms, you have to walked around the block (street) you are parked on to get to them.

      Vikingsontheroad April 7 Agree. We stayed there in October 2018.
      The sites are dirt/sand and not easy. Supposedly they were remodeling.

      JVBV April 7 Stayed there last summer and didn't like it. Looks like they're trying (a little) with new plumbing and electrical posts. But agree about rough sites. Worse are the rude permanent residents...drove right through our site with his ATV and gave me the finge...  more

      Butch & Brenda April 7 Try Santee State Park next time you are in the area. Very cheap, on the water (make sure you get the new campground that has been redone); with it being a SC State Park, they do not have full hookups, but do have E&W with a dump station and lots to do in ...  more

      BobKathy95 April 7 Was there two years ago and thought it was a great location - lots of trees. The only downside was that they were way overpriced.

      Uncle Albert April 9 In May of 2017, we stayed there, used the laundry, had a good site with a fire pit and lounge chairs...all round, a good KOA by our estimation...great views back into Glacier NP

    April 4Stayed at lake oconee ga. Sites very un even. The outdoor activities is a joke. No min golf. Playground tiny. Shuffleboard snd horseshies is a mess. Cats running loose but we have to keep our dog on leash ,,,, view and dog park we’re great ,,, Work...  more

      FiReed53 Tue at 6:55 AM Stayed at same park after the Perry rally and agreed that sites weren't the best but the view was great. Staff friendly and helpful but if you need to do laundry try elsewhere, machines are old and need to be replaced.

      Rambling Reids April 4 We stayed at Heartland RV Park and Cabins in Hermosa, SD..  Located very close to Mount Rushmore.  Park was very nice, easy in/out.

      If you want a pool, you should check to see if they have put in a new one.  It's very convinient to the major attactions and sightseeing...  more

      Nature Tech Family April 7 The Rushmore KOA is fabulous, all-inclusive and yes, centrally located. Has shuttles to many of the area attractions. The KOA in Custer is also very nice and would be much less expensive. Hot Springs has one but would be a little further south and not as ...  more

      dstowe April 8 dstowe  We have stayed at Custer KOA several times.  it is well placed for Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Custer State park. It's also not bad for other attractions in the Black Hills area.  Some of the spaces are a little small but workable....  more
