Ho Hum rv park near Carrabelle not fancy but if you have a class A, B or C there is a chance to park on the beach and watch the sunrise from the front seat...  more

      Randy & Susan 7 hours ago We stayed at Pirateland, it was cheapest. Right on the beach friendly staff. We could not ride the motorcycle inside the park had to leave it parked by the front gate which was secure but a hassle.

    February 16i guess that would depend. we have a 1000 trail membership and are not happy with it - - mainly because you have to make reservations so far in advance, no guarantees on the spot (first come, first serve), and many of the parks we've stayed in are in sad...  more

      We haven’t camped there, but it is close to where we store our RV, so we’ve been to use their dumps station after dry camping, & to refill propane.

      Doug n'Nance February 16 If you haven't made reservations already for July 4th, it may be very difficult to find any place with an open spot. You might try Moab, Utah as that season is slower than Spring due to pretty high temperatures in July.

      Nature Tech Family February 16 I'm not sure where they hold the fireworks I Grand Junction but the KOA there is right next door to the fairgrounds! Despite the wafting odors of horse stalls, we had a very nice stay here last summer in late June. But it was certainly hot!

      poorboy February 16 I stayed there a few years ago. Found it very clean and we'll managed. The office staff was well informed and helpful. Lots of things to see and do in the area. Hinton and Jasper are very nice little towns, with many places to spend money.

      Kathy McNabb February 16 We stayed at Jasper Gates rv just minutes from the park gates. Large pull thru lots with medium tree coverage. Real assets was a new micro brewery a short walk away. Great place to unwind after a busy day.

But yea the Good Sam one isn't always accurate -- I stayed at some that were rated 10-9.5-10 & thought it was more 7-8ish.  I think they're not updated enough.

      WEKA February 16 You might want to add paying for showers (we had to pay $.25 per 3 minutes at one KOA), size of showers (our RV shower is bigger than some KOAs, especially older ones).
