I need some HELP from Thor gassers. The 34.2 Miramar 2018 that I am looking at does not have any rear wheel wells at all.
Directly above the rear wheels is the floor of the motorhome. It is a large open space on both sides, and on the drivers side it has...  more

Doug & Patty Schroeder On our 2014 Miramar, all the wire bundles are run inside the frame rails, the wheel wells are open and clear of wires. Plus all wires going to the rear are in protective wrap.

The Bradleys My 2014 ACE 29.2 doesn't have wheel wells either.  I had the same concerns with my wiring bundles.  One of them was actually resting on one of the tires!  A buddy and I wrapped the bundles and secured them inside the frame rails; sort of li...  more

Doug & Patty Schroeder One last point. I did spend many hours going through all the wire harnesses tying them back up, many in the front end we’re hanging from the light sockets. I cut tie wraps and secured the wires to solid structure. Went from front to back, plus all the com...  more

We have a 2016 Miramar 34.1 and we love it! We did have some problems with it immediately after purchase: the LR slide topper unfurled on our way home and we did have few fit and finish issues inside, but overall it has been a very good rig. We have made ...  more

I am a fairly new RV'er and have a 2018 Thor Chateau 31ft. I heard there is always bugs to be worked out on new RV's but a lot of the "bugs" I have found so far seem related to poor craftsmenship from the factory. The drawers under the kitchen area have a...  more

Don and Tina I have been looking at RV dealer websites around the country. I have been finding a lot of 2017 model Thor products on there are lots as used. I might expect to find a few used models in the same year however I wouldn't think there should be so many.

Richard and Jackie Kelly  Very interesting article. Thanks for sharing. It’s a real eye opener. You can understand the reason why RV owners are encountering (over- looked) quality issues due to high demand and “not so happy” workers. Sad in a way where output is more importa...  more

Don and Tina I think one of the problems is there's no real lemon law for RVs. I believe there is something called the magnuson moss warranty act but I don't know that much about it except RV manufacturers have a Lot of ways to get around this because of the wording. ...  more

John and Beth We have the dark woodwork in our ACE and have no such holes in ours, so if it's noticeable I'd definitely call them on that.  We did find other defects in the cabinetry during our pre-inspection which were all taken care of by our dealer after the sale.

2Shiftybees we didn't have the holes in our woodwork, but did have what appeared to be a glue residue in spots on the walls.  They did take care of that.  One major thing for us was when the wife went to clean the mirror on the bathroom wall if fell off in ...  more
