      Rick and Betsy Heading to Sturgis, SD on Sunday, 4/23 taking our time to get there. Should arrive by May 1. Workamping until 9/15. Looking forward to exploring that whole area especially Mt Rushmore, Black Hills, Crazy Horse and many other spots that RVillagers have mentioned.

      Bill Woodside I could not agree more.  Lazydays is the worst dealership for service.  When they do the service, they do it incorrectly.  I will never take my rig to Lazydays again, although, they do a good job on sales.

      Beal&Audry We purchased two RV's from Windish RV in Lakewood CO. The first one used and the second a 2017 Grand Design Reflection. The sales process was professional. The service has been great and their work was also done correctly. Would recommend them to anyone.

      Susan & Richard Sacramento Valley is a flyway.  Some is hunting land and some is preserve.  Wonderful assortment of waterfowl over winter.  if we have a wet winter, like this year, the bargain RV parks by the rivers get flooded out and close down until summer.

      Bobbie&Kurt We stayed at Myrtle Beach State Park. Quite nice. Lots of trees. A quick walk to a beach which has daily horse rentals. Dogs were allowed but we were there in the fall so I'm not sure dogs can be on the beach year round.

      Harvey Check out some of the higher elevation state parks in NM. They have an annual pass that makes them very reasonable, also some of the higher elevations in AZ are pleasant and cool.

    My husband and I just purchased our first travel trailer with a slide. Do we need to buy slide supports (jacks)? Our manual says we don't need to buy them. Not sure what to do. Any help would be appreciated!

      NoDakTravelers We have our 2 Class C with slides and have never used jacks. The only people we know that have ever used them are folks who leave their slides out in the winter to help with snow load (Minnesota). We leave our slides in when parked in winter.

        John Yellowolf My speedometer shows that I'm going a full 10 mph slower than I really am, and it's 38 years old - it's a miracle that it works at all! Hahahaha! :P

      voy108 Thanks for the question and all the answers. I have been freaking out about my Bounder when it hits 210 and thought I was frying it.  This is a MAJOR relief for me. I was considering a second cooler to help out. You have made my day and summer. :)

      Claude & Theresa Do not add a second cooler as you would probably restrict fluid flow, Allison transmissions flow a lot of fluid through the cooler which would do more harm then good.         gypsy ken Yes, when the temp of my transmission goes up, the engine coolant system temp of course also goes up.  But my MD3060 Allison, in the coach I purchased new in 1993, uses Dexron-II fluid, and I've never been told by Allison that I should use any other.

      Susan & Richard We swear by the Amsoil synthetic transmission fluid. Dissipates heat faster, protects better. Be sure your radiator is not dirty or obstructed. Diesel pushers have to be cleaned from the back side (open up the bed and clean from that side).  The Dies...  more
