Jeeptj5- Don All the gauges get their power from the same fuse.  If any of the gauges work then it's not the fuse.  I'd check the ground wires that run from gauge to gauge and make sure the connections are tight.  Same with the 12 volt power feed. ...  more Hide 1 Reply

bjbear Tap into the power going to the motor when the slide is trying to close.  You may find the voltage is low.  This happened on mine and it was a result of dirty contacts on the main 12V cable from the batteries.

John n Kay Paul, I had that same problem on my 08 Monaco.  At alliance, they put in two inline relays from battery to motor.  Can't believe how fast they are now.

Steve & Sharon Ownby Is this a 7.5 or 8kw? This is a known issue with those units. There is an electrical connector along the side of the generator that needs to be dried out & resealed. Moisture gets in an causes the phantom start.

Paul & Kay Legare 7.5 thanks I'll look at the wiring. I had a 40kw Onan that would auto start at a store that I used to own. That one did have auto start but would come on even when it should not have. Gremlins followed me.

Jeeptj5- Don Does "lost all coach power" mean 12 volt or 110 volt or both?  Did the engine keep running?  Does the engine instrumentation still work?  I cannot remember whether the generator starter is connected to the house or chassis battery.  If...  more

CallNaha By starting (or trying to start) your generator while still plugged in it caused a phase overload and that's what knocked out coach power.  It sounds like letting it set might allow it to reset but if it doesn't you'll need to check the relays that a...  more Hide 1 Reply

Jeeptj5- Don Looks to me like the 12 Volt DC power to your generator starter and the rest of the coach is out.  Perhaps the house battery disconnect switch failed.  Tomorrow, if you have a volt meter, measure the voltage at the house battery terminals to see...  more
