This may sound like a really stupid question, and I am kind of embarrassed to be asking it. Our gauges don't work. Where does the gray tank water go when the tank is full? The black tank we can tell because it sounds different....but the gray? We can ...  more

Keith & Lois If the gray water tank fills up it with no place to drain, it will come up at the lowest point going to the gray tank.  The lowest point will most likely be the shower drain. Hide 1 Reply
      • Dick & Kathie
Ron & Linda Prater That is correct, I have had that happen several times.  It always comes out through the shower drain.

These are probably your sensors but accessing them may be tough. I recommend Sea Level.

Question. Is there a switch that turns the basement heater on? if so where is it located?
    • November 21
    • Andy101
John n Don My 05 HR Ambassador has the same switch, but I haven't needed to use it yet. Did you get the owner's manual? It explains the system including snap disc. Good luck.
    • Andy101
bjbear It would help if you told us what type of heating system you have.  Do you have an AquaHot (or HydroHot)? ...or... propane furnace?

Steve & Sharon Ownby Most likely your sending unit is bad. It was built by Centroid and a replacement is under $100. You have to access the top of the tank by taking a couple of fasteners off at the bottom of the panel at the fuel fill. Mine is on the curb side but yours might not be.
