Serenity 2000 You can have an inverter without installing solar. Just make sure you have enough batteries to makeit worthwhile. One lead acid won't do it.

MRJohnston My Class A  fridge plug is not wired to run off of the inverter, is runs on shore power or if not plugged in, on LP gas.  That said, all of my plugs run off the inverter EXCEPT the fridge.

Misty and Steve Monroe Ours is definitely wired to the inverter because when we purchased it, it didn’t come on and the dealer said the factory wired to microwave instead of the fridge to the inverter, so they fixed it and it worked for a year and now it isn’t...

B and B Well, can you get to the back of the frig and the plug for it?  I can access mine by taking the original cover for the RV frig off.  If you can do this then find the plug for the frig and plug it directly into a 120 extension cord, does ...  more

Road Daug you might only have one outlet that will work off your battery its only one twelve volt battery and the lights might have a switch  to use on the 12 volt system but each unit is different try owners manual.
