AdventureAwaits We have an Allure 420.  We love our CC; however, we have had some problems - so be sure to make sure all the main and/or costly things are working well.

Barb and Gary: Some people have concerns. I have used it for years. It is hard to avoid. I treated it this winter and had no problems at minus 5 degrees.

Ken & Lida Welcome to the Diesel RV Club.
Yes, bio diesel is here to stay-- today mostly because of state legislatures. The percent, as the pump sticker say is UP TO XXX.
Biodiesel has less BTU's per gallon, so power and MPG are off slightly.
      Biodiesel is a "super-...  more

LarandSus : I just read a post that said they don't use truck stop diesel because it has biodiesel blended in. What's wrong with biodiesel? Any comments?

M & B Songer Diesel, in any region, is diesel. It really comes from the same source in a region. Diefferent trucks with different branding show up at the build distribution source and haul it to their branded outlet. Bio-diesel is blended with “farm grown” oils and bl...  more

Dale & Kathy: We are thinking about buying a 2006 Beaver Monterey Pacifica IV. Any advice or anything we should be aware of for this model?
    • Dale & Kathy
Mike and Donna Wagner While I can't comment on the specifics of that model, it is well known that Beaver made a very high end quality coach.  Our coach is a Safari-Beaver combo, built at the Beaver plant in Bend, OR in 2001, and we bought it new in 2002.  It's very d...  more

Miki & John: We are traveling north & west from Florida this summer. One of our must see places is Dorr county, Wisconsin. Wondering what we should not miss and where is the best camping? If you've been there, we'd love to hear from you. Thanks!

LarandSus I'd suggest a stop at my hometown of Sheboygan, WI along the way. It has a cute waterfront area and downtown. Have breakfast or stop in for fresh "bakery" at Johnston's Bakery (&cafe best selection earlier in the morning but some choices available later)....  more

LarandSus I've never visited with the RV and haven't been to this park in many years but my first thought was Terry Andrae State Park because it is on Lake Michigan. We do visit Sheboygan often.
