I don’t know about you guys, but I see A LOT of new drink making in my future. Here is a short version of what we all contributed last night. If something is incorrect, I direct all my fact checking through Marcapedia. I am going to throw mine in first since I was muzzled by shitty internet. So, without further ado...The best drink and booze list on RVillage to date.

    Named Drinks:

    Red Snapper-Crown, Amaretto, Cranberry Juice

Short and Tall-Whiskey, Amaretto, Orange Juice

    Hawaiian Mimosa-Champagne, Malibu, Pineapple Juice

Aperol Spritz-Sugar rim glass,  1/2 Aperol, 1/2 Prosecco, a splash of Seltzer, Orange Peel

    Tequila Sunrise-Tequila, Orange Juice, Grenadine

Hairy Buffalo-Gin, Rum, Tequila, Vodka, Whiskey (all 1/5 bottles), 2 Can Fruit Punch, Mixed Cut Up Fruits, Ice

Moscow Mule-Copper Cup, Vodka, Ginger Beer, Lime Juice

Whiskey Sour Low Calorie-Whiskey, Crystal Light, Lime Juice

Sol Y Sombra- Brandy Snifter, Brandy, Anise Dulce

Bloody Mary-Vodka, Spicy V8, Lemon and Lime Juice, Celery Salt (and here’s where it gets tricky--optional Worchestershire/Worcestershire/Worshester however the hell you pronounce it)

    Drinks Specific to Locations:

French 75 (Not to be confused with French 69)-Cognac, Lemon Juice, Sugar, Champagne

Sazerac-Absinthe (swirled in glass, excess poured out), Simple Syrup, Bitters, Rye Whiskey (Best served at the Roosevelt Hotel at the Sazerac Bar [See also Tales of the Cocktails] all in New Orleans)

Smoked Old Fashioned-Board of Choice heated and rocks glass placed upside down on top trapping smoke, Mix Whisky/Bourbon, Bitters and Garnish All of Choice. Turn glass over and fill with mix. (Served in The Nugget Saloon Deadwood, SD)

Moonwacker (Using Bushwacker recipe but adding a Moonpie [Dauphin Island, AL at the Island Retreat Restaurant])

Shipwreck-Find this in the Florida Keys. Where you may also find Charles passed out from too many of them.

Fat Ass in a Glass (AKA Panty Remover in a Glass)-16 oz Glass, Wood’s Coffee Liqueur, ½ and ½ (Bangor and Portland, ME Elks Lodges)

Favorites with no names (the redheaded stepchildren of drinks):

Malibu, La Croix Key Lime or La Croix Orange

    Homemade Lemonade, Fresh Basil, Malibu

Frozen Watermelon Blended with Alcohol of Choice, I think he said Boone’s Farm. I wasn’t listening because I was too busy being a basic white girl mixing my White Claw and Vodka.

    Kahlua/Kamora and Coffee

Pineapple Colada-Beware may turn you into Ranger Bear

    Martini-Extra Gina…I mean Dirty/Bombay or The Botanist

Snake Bite Shots (salt, tequila, lime)

Coronarita-7oz Corona upside down in Frozen Margarita

    Daily’s Frozen Daiquiri

    Miscellaneous Booze:

    Everything on Jane’s not-so-mini Bar

    Makers Mark

    Kesslers-Thom’s Talking Tonic

    Vanilla Crown Royal

    Hennessey Pure White

    Tarheel Red Wine

    Mango Tequila

    Red Oak Beer

    Coors Light

    Wagner’s Recommendation:

Up John-Spanish Fly, Air-Wick, Vodka (drink with caution, may cause stiff neck)

Thank you again Riveted Fox once again for encouraging our alcoholism! But seriously, we can’t thank you enough for all you do for us!  Another fun night in the books!

Correction Aperol Spritz: 1/2 Aperol 1/2 Prosecco a touch of Seltzer! Great recipes to keep, hope we can enjoy them together soon.
