Yes, been there, we try hit both lakes for wineries. If your on Seneca Lake, go to Dear Head Restaurant, good food and nice view

If you were in Buffalo should have hit Letchworth, then go south around Erie and Chautauqua,NY, many great wineries, town dedicated to Lucy Ball and Concord Grapes factory was there. We love that area.

Yup, we did all that, plus we used to head down Route 5 into PA and shop in Amish country or visit wineries there as well...
