Welcome to RVillage! We’re glad you are here.

RVillage is a welcoming and inclusive community for RV enthusiasts. RVillage celebrates the diversity of the RVs in our community, but mostly it’s about the people who own, aspire to own, or rent RVs. Some of us travel in them and some of us live in them. We love our RVs and RVing—most of the time.

In the RVillage community, members share tips, ideas, and inspiration about RVing, traveling, and discovery. “Our” Village is your community. We're glad you're here and invite you to participate.

To ensure that all members feel safe and welcome in Our Village, we have created some rules of the road to reflect the values of our community.

1. Be Respectful to Fellow RVillagers

Here at RVillage, you are connecting with fellow RV enthusiasts. They may be the same RVers you wave to on the highway, chat with in your favorite RV park, or meet at rallies.

RVillage is a place to learn, and your questions are welcomed and encouraged! RVillage is also a place to share what you've learned. Don't keep all of that great knowledge to yourself.

Use thoughtful language when sharing information or asking questions on RVillage. Think before you post: Are you truly helping another RVillager? Could this be misunderstood? Written communication can be easily misinterpreted. Remember, we all come from different backgrounds and are at a different stage of our RVing journey.

Respect RVillage moderators. They are real people and many are RVers, too! Discussions of moderator actions on the site are not permitted. If you need to comment on a moderator action, please contact our support team:

Respect that members of our community have traveled different roads, had different life experiences, and may have different perspectives than yours. RVillage members treat each other with dignity and respect in person and online.

2. Build Wise Connections

RVillage is a place to form friendships with people who share a common interest in RVing. We may not know each other off-line yet, but the connections we make on RVillage may lead to life-long friendships that grow on the road.

Be safe. All members should take ownership over their personal safety and should never put themselves or others in danger or discomfort. This includes online and off-line.

Be aware that RVillage is a public website. Remember, it’s not just fellow RVillagers who can see posts you share—the entire internet can.

Sharing sensitive information such as your full legal name, personal email address, phone number, financial information (like social security numbers or bank accounts), or address is risky and should be avoided. Likewise, keep other people’s personal and identifiable information private by never sharing.

Be mindful of local laws when connecting in person. Where appropriate, organizers of a Get-Together should also set guidelines for their events to ensure their members are participating safely.

If you ever have any safety concerns, please contact RVillage support at

3. Do Not Discriminate

RVillage is not a place for racism, hateful language, hate symbols, or discrimination of any kind. We have a zero tolerance policy for such material, content, or posts.

Any material, content, or posts that are racist, homophobic, defamatory, profane, libalist, sexist, abusive, offensive, threatening, hateful, obscene, or otherwise objectionable will be deleted. Users posting such content are subject to be banned from using the site without notice.

RVillage is a welcoming and inclusive community for all RVers. Think before you post. Ask yourself, “Would I say this in person?” If not, don't share it in the RVillage community. Treat fellow RVillagers with the same respect you would like to see for yourself and the people you care about. If you read something negative or uncomfortable about yourself or people you love, how would it make you feel?

If you see a post or comment that you believe is discriminatory in nature, please report it. Our most effective tool is our community.

4. Discuss Challenging Topics in Appropriate Groups

We have policies and dedicated groups for important current topics, such as politics, religion, and lifestyle preferences.

RVillage has specific groups dedicated to politics, religion, and lifestyle preferences. Conversations about these topics are to remain in these groups.

Discussions on challenging topics can be valuable to building connections if they are conducted in an appropriate way, and in the appropriate group. Members are free to disagree and express their opinions but are not permitted to insult/personally attack those with opposing views. If you're interested in discussing these topics, we want to encourage you to seek out (or form) appropriate groups.

5. Properly Promote Products and Services

At RVillage, we know there are many great products and services that can make RVing even better. We have created designated groups and platforms for members and businesses to sell or promote products and services.

Are you an RVer who has something to sell? Looking for a good deal from a fellow RVillager? The RVillage Classifieds group is the designated place for individuals to sell items. This group is for individual use only. Posts from companies will be removed. This is the only group on RVillage where it is permissible to sell RV related products.

Are you a content creator, influencer, vlogger, or blogger and want to share your content? RVillage can be a beneficial platform to share your content and grow your community, but it must be done with community-building and genuine engagement intention in order to be successful. To connect and grow your fanbase, we recommend that you share content in one relevant group. Do not solicit followers or subscribers in your posts. We encourage you to be an active member of the community and engage in addition to sharing your link to your content where relevant.

Are you a manufacturer, RV park, or another type of business? We have created Business Level Accounts just for you to be a part of the RVillage community. This means you can be an authentic member of the community and promote your business at the same time. Posts of commercial nature may only be posted by an account that is a Business Level. Not sure if you have the right type of account? Please contact and the team will be happy to help.

Do not flood multiple groups with the same content. It can be tiresome for members who are in multiple groups to get notifications that lead to the same content, and they are less likely to engage with your content if it appears in multiple places.  A good rule of thumb is to post to groups that are connected to the content of that actual post.

Do not spam our community. Spam, such as posted advertisements or unsolicited messages to users for other websites and services, or other commercial solicitation (such as guerilla marketing, affiliate links to third party products, multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, charitable solicitation) will not be tolerated. This includes Kickstarter, GoFundMe, Patreon, and others.

6. Maintain a feeling of safety

RVillage is a place to be helpful, not harmful. Any activity that could hurt someone is not permitted. This includes anything from physical harm to scams.

  • RVillage is not a place to promote or glorify violence.
  • RVillage is not a place for spam or scams.
  • RVillage is not a place for personal attacks, bullying, name-calling, trolling, or abuse.
  • RVillage is not a dating app and is not a place to solicit dates.
  • RVillage is not a place to post graphic photos, nude photos, or any type of pornographic content.
  • RVillage is not a place for discussion of illegal activities or providing links to other websites containing such information.

RVillagers, like you, play an important role in keeping our community a place where all RV enthusiasts feel welcome. If you see content that breaches these rules of the road, please report it.

Every post on RVillage has an option to report. Here is more information on how you can report content. You can email with feedback, questions, or issues about our online community.

If you would like a refresher on the RVillage Terms of Service, you can find the full document here. The short version is: Be kind. Be a good human. Respect your fellow RVillagers and their personal choices. We are on this journey together!

What happens when these guidelines are not followed?

The consequences of violating these guidelines or the Terms of Service depend on the severity of the violation, and RVillage reserves the right to determine the appropriate response.
