Brenda and Bob - Taking a Fork in the Road February 3 I appreciate your good information on Casa Grande (the area, just not the RV park). The RGV of south TX is also quite windy, but no sand storms and being able to put awnings out is maybe a once a week opportunity for just a couple of hours. However,...  more

sailsam February 3 Jack - Are you in Casa Grande now?  If so you move MUCH faster than we do.  As I recall you were on the east coast about a month ago.  We travel MUCH slower.  Our first RV expedition took four years, mostly in Mexico, and our rate of travel, when we were ...  more

The Hubers- On the Road to What's Next February 3 We left Casa Grande last Sunday, we’re in Yuma now for three weeks. Our typical stay is 1-2 weeks in any one place, depending on whether there is a Thousand Trails, Encore or RPI in the area.

January 31LOW CLEARANCE ALERT! Heading out of Casa Grande AZ going to Yuma, GPS routed us through Casa Grande on highway 84 to get to I8. The other day we noticed a via duct with a clearance of 13'3". That would've left a mark! We routed ourselves to miss it.

campingcoopers January 31 We saw that very same via duct and thought good thing that we weren’t pulling our 5th wheel at that time since we would not have cleared it! 😞 it would have been more than a scratch.

12 legs on the road January 31 Do you know if you can update that version of a garmin GPS with the RV Garmin that shows height limits and routes around dirt roads and construction areas based on the length of your vehicle? Pat Shea Knoop January 27 You might want to stay put for a few days. Nasty storm coming in off the Ocean in No. Calif & moving East. Yesterday had some winds up to 65mph and lots of rain. Rain continues for the next few days. Love everyone’s Sunset Pictures 😊

The Hubers- On the Road to What's Next January 29 The best type of RV for full-time living is an age old discussion in the RV community.  Ask 100 people and you'll get a split between 5th wheels and motorhomes, and motorhome answers will be split between class a and class c.  It all depends on your econo...  more

The Hubers- On the Road to What's Next January 29 Ours is a small 5th wheel, only 31', but because we have 4' wide opposing slides in the living room, it's almost 16' across, giving us far more room than most motorhomes.  The smaller length lets us get into parks and spaces that a larger 5th wheel would ...  more
