      OBZRV Agree with BPMJim. Spring baseball starts at the end of this month, NASCAR is here in March. Most RV parks in the immediate Phoenix area will be full. Go further east to Apache Junction area, you might find something there. Good luck!

      Azdaveretired If you don't mind dry camping, you can park at the Desert Diamond Casino in Glendale.  You can jump on the 101 to I10 to downtown in about 15 or 20 mins.  It will cost you nothing to stay and they allow you to stay up to 7 days.

        Ray Zimmermann Yes, I've stayed in Apache Palms and it is a nice park, not real fancy  and not a fancy neighborhood, but we felt safe there.  You can't beat the location in Tempe.  The light rail station is across the street and is an easy way to get down...  more

        xctraveler We have stayed there when we needed to fly out for a weekend. Light rail to airport from the curb out front couldn't be beat. Nice people, small park and spaces are tight. Not a problem to us as we do not spend a lot of time in the park.
