March 18, 2019When I travel I prefer to stay in Corps of Engineers campgrounds or state campgrounds [I like the roomy campsites, and nature].
My question is: is there a website or app that lists the "Corps of Engineers campgrounds"?

Keith & Rashell March 18, 2019 Recreation.gov will show all ACE sites and you can make reservations there.

Kayo March 18, 2019 You can get a book that lists them all. Think I got mine years ago. Try Amazon

BuckeyeCruisers March 18, 2019 There is a book called “Camping With the Corps”. Also a very good app called Ultimate Campgrounds has filters you can set, one specifically for COE. We use UC 99% of the time and really like it.

revbilly March 18, 2019 We like the COE campgrounds as well. Recreation.gov is the site you want, they've updated it so you'll need to set up an account. It's a lot slicker but I haven't figured out how to search for pull thru sites. Oh, well.

Bob and Val Davis March 18, 2019 We have Allstays and it works very well. You can set up a filter to just search for COE campgrounds in an area.

Bruce & Linda (Omnibus) March 18, 2019 The “U S Public Lands” app shows ALL Federal public lands on a map, and each type can be turned on/off as needed.  COE is one of the types.  And for each administering agency, their is a website link.  I have the iOS version on my iPad. &nb...  more

Hank & Shirleen March 19, 2019 Bruce & Linda (Omnibus). I think I have the right app is it a $2.99 one at the App Store?
      • WeareMovinforward
Bruce & Linda (Omnibus) March 20, 2019 It might be.  We already have it so when I search for it in the store I don’t see a price.  It’s a green icon with the lower 48 inside.  If you search for Technomadia App Bundle, the US Public Lands app is one of the three icons shown. &nbs...  more

Author Toni Mariani April 24, 2019 So, is BLM for Native American tribe land?
What exactly is COE land? Is it in all parts of the country? Is it free? BLM is supposed to be free, right?
