    Greg & Debra5th Wheel RV's:
March 31, 2019On our quest to find a good used fifth wheel trailer, we have noticed some with washer and dryer hookups. My question for everyone is how often do you use them and how affordable are they, or is it better to use laundry facilities at RV parks. As I have ...  more

Rhymestimes March 31, 2019 I was wondering the same thing! Also, all in one, stackable, vented or non vented?

Al and Shelley March 31, 2019 I have all in one. Doesn’t need venting. Use it on long trips. Dealer added it as an incentive to buy. Takes little space in closet.

Rhymestimes March 31, 2019 I was thinking I would need to do a small load every day too since they don't hold as much.

Mike123 March 31, 2019 Hi Steve & Marci, How long does it takes a all in one unit to wash/ drys clothes on the average ?

rvericksons March 31, 2019 We have separate (stacked) w/d.
They are older Sears apartment size models, Kenmore, and work great. So nice not to have to search for/ go out to do wash.

dstowe Dan and Pam April 1, 2019 We have an "all in one" vented.  We usually do a load every evening when we are on the road.  makes life a lot more convenient.

Rhymestimes April 1, 2019 Is it true that a load can take 4 hours or more to finish?

North Point Pointed South (formerly Lou N Kathy) April 1, 2019 We have stackable.  Our first full time rig we thought we’d rather have the storage space.  Now that we have the stackable, vented, we do laundry once a week, washer will, handle up to 7lbs of clothes, we have 3 to 4 loads each week.  It’s t...  more

Rhymestimes April 1, 2019 Yes, the comforter is too big for any of the units I’ve been looking at. I think even a king sized blanket would be too much. Going to a laundromat every now and then wouldn’t be too bad. :)

Boxermobile April 1, 2019 We had a stackable in our motorhome and loved it. We used it about once a week on a 3 week trip. We now have a fifth wheel and will be putting in residential w/d at a later date. Right now, we don’t need it as we currently only go on short trips. I prefer...  more

Greg & Debra April 1, 2019 Hello. How do you like your Montana fifth wheel. I am looking for a used a couple of years old. I have viewed a few her locally and they seem well put together and nice layouts. How big in length is your and what do you use to pull the trailer with. ...  more

Steve & Marci April 1, 2019 It takes a good 2 hours or so to wash & dry a load. I usually just partly dry then hang to finish drying. This saves on wrinkling.

RV'ing Denise April 1, 2019 Love our Splendide vented washer dryer combo. I do small loads every other day or so. It’s well worth the money for me. I talked to one person this winter. They spent just shy of $300.00. The past year doing laundry for two.

Kristi and Joe April 1, 2019 I love having mine-not too fond of dragging my laundry to the facility then have to keep watch on it.

Gypsy Lass April 3, 2019 I have heard that if it’s not vented don’t bother they work on condensation which is obviously slow going . My Keystone has hoookups but not vented so I use the laundromat

Rick & Lil April 5, 2019 Some "public" or even campground laundry facilities can leave a lot to be desired. We opted for a "studio" style front loader by LG (GE & Samsung make them also). It can be stacked with a matching dryer if desired. The studio models are a larger capacity ...  more
