October 5, 2019I'm back with a another problem.
I purchased my Momentum in Aug. so had no use for the furnace. Along comes late Sept. and I find that my furnace won't light. You guys helped me out and it was discovered that there was air in the propane line. After tu...  more

WeMustRV October 5, 2019 Sounds like late ingniter sequence or partially blocked gas jet. Probably a dealer issue

The Shipp October 5, 2019 Unfortunately even if you get this fixed, RV furnaces are notoriously inefficient! I agree with Jerry Beasler except that a competent Mobile RV service can likely fix your issue in less than an hour.

Jim & Sharon Ham October 5, 2019 We agree with above posters that this is a repair best fixed by a gas professional with the correct tools.  Sounds like the gas valve is opening too soon, and then the ignitor spark is exploding the entire thing.  A mobile RV tech or dealer shou...  more

SNOOPY1 October 5, 2019 Do you have a warranty for your couch? Hopefully so, sounds like it could be expensive. Had an issue like that with new winnie, had to replace PC board as they shorted it out when they installed it, never did work till . i got it fixed!

pymmint October 5, 2019 Personally I try to avoid going to the/a dealer, I think they will try to “take” you, but gas is a bit more different than your run of the mill probs.  I agree either call a mobile tech that knows about lp gas or bite the bullet and go to a dealer; &...  more

Jim & Sharon Ham October 5, 2019 In addition to the furnace, we carry two small electric cube heaters with us.  If we are paying for full hookups, we will use the electric heaters instead of burning up propane.  We also have an electric blanket for the king bed.  We are no...  more

Full Time Barb October 11, 2019 Thanks to all for your help.  It turned out to be the regulator.  It was doing it's own thing.  Sometimes I had propane, sometimes I had some, sometimes I had too much. Change regulator and everything is working great.  Frig, stove, fu...  more
