Don CunninghamWhy didn't I think of that? Tips and Tricks:
November 2, 2019Is it legal in most or all states to attach a boat to a truck and tow the two behind a motor home if the motor home has adequate towing capacity for the combined weight? Is it safe? Any experience doing something like that?

Ray & Ann November 2, 2019 I saw someone try to leave a Florida campground with a boat trailer behind a 5th wheeler. It didn't track well and hit another camper before he ever left the park :(

Seann (the Canadian) November 2, 2019 depending on the size of the boat I've seen some people build a rack on their truck and the boat gets loaded up on top of that it can even be loaded with the trailer attached on some of course you need a winch for that to winch it up there

Todd Ramsay November 2, 2019 I think it is only legal in a few states, plus there is great possiblity of excessive sway that wouldn't be good. I wouldn't recommend doing it.

Scoott November 2, 2019 It is legal in Michigan
Lthough not sure of the exact type you mention. I have seen a lot of boats behind 5th wheel nd trailers seem to be the most common. :)

Jim & Sharon Ham November 2, 2019 Legal in Iowa and Illinois on I-80..  But it seems to me to be very dangerous.  We have seen many in the ditch so sway must be a real problem for the back unit.
