BobbieK November 13, 2019 My favorite thing about the last RVillage Rally was the opportunity to talk to people and hear their stories. We have a diverse bunch here and everyone has a different story, a different path, and a different perspective. I find it interesting to hear tho...  more

Patte M November 13, 2019 Our choice to go full-time came in 2015 when some good friends came to visit us in West Virginia, in their 2015 Phaeton, of course with our 32 acres, we accommodated them quite easily. My dad and I had some talks about how much he traveled and all he was ...  more

Pete & Beaver Hester November 13, 2019 Our second oldest son was killed in a car wreck 15 years ago. He loved to go on road trips and fell asleep at the wheel on his way to Colorado to go skiing with his 3 roommates. We decided that as soon as I retired we were selling everything and hitting...  more

BobbieK November 13, 2019 I can completely relate to that blog post. We sold our house this past February and moved across the country for my husband's job transfer. We decided to rent for a year to decide if we like this city enough to buy a house. Now we don't even want to do th...  more

Didn't want to live the same life in retirement that we'd lived the last 30 years. 16 years full-timing with no home base and we still love ...  more

BobbieK November 14, 2019 I like your way of thinking! Isn't it fun to find new little mom and pop restaurants to try out? How many National Parks have you visited so far?

Halfloaf November 14, 2019 Disability. I can neither afford nor manage a house. 100 square feet is about right. Favorite thing: being able to switch up living in urban and rural areas. I don't really have a favorite place, any place would be less favorite after a while, moving is favorite.

Mills Travelers November 14, 2019 To BobbieK: How Phannie got her name is described in the right column of the blog under "About Phannie and Mae and us." It was kinda silly but, since it was Sandy's idea, I'm calling it brilliant. It's that kind of "compromise" that enables us to enjoy ea...  more
