Rick & Barb Hubert March 5 It's really not hard to do, and for many RVers it is their favorite way to "camp" and see the country. First - you will need a fully functioning RV, but since most are built to be self-contained and self-supporting that is easy. ...  more

Jim & Sharon Ham March 5 If you camp in your driveway without the power cord hooked to the house, you are boondocking.  We have 50 years of RV experience, but still like to spend a night before going on long trip just boondocking in the driveway to find out what we forgot.&n...  more

As previously suggested, practice in your driveway or nearby campground. Try to camp without water or electric for as long as possible and how full gray & black tanks function. O...  more

Outofsightadventures March 5 Try without solar first (just switch to Li), then when you are sure it’s the type of camping you like (it’s our favorite way and we did not expect that to be the case), you can then get the solar (with a better idea if what you need).
