Joe and Lori June 7, 2020 What type (brand) is it? I think it's Atwood has a circuit board that fails, causing the unit not to fire with propane. Electric side works though.

Joe and Lori June 8, 2020 When using propane does the heater just click (a few times) and not fire up? If so it's the small circuit board mounted on the heater unit. There's you tube videos on replacing it super simple about a$50 part on Amazon

Bill King June 8, 2020 Sounds like you might have a spider web in the propane air mixture tube/propane burner gas tube at the water heater. I would try cleaning it out. By the way blasting air thru it to clean it out doesn't always work. Try a pipe cleaner or a small flexible brush.

Bill King June 8, 2020 I have run into this before and had the same issue until I took apart the propane burner tube and cleaned it out with a brush. Let me know if this worked for you or not,
