June 17, 2020Our new Cougar trailer has a King RV mattress but the sheets I bought at Camping World for that specific size are huge! Can I just get regular sheets and what size would work?

Phillip & Chris Savage June 17, 2020 We have been RVing for over 25 years and I have always used the sheets from the house. Double, Queen or King.  Right now we have a Bighorn with a King bed mattress and I use King size sheets from the house.

Rick & Lil June 17, 2020 They fit big because RV king mattresses are 72"X78". A residential king is 76"X78". Also, the corner pockets may be deeper whick leaves excess material. We use sheet "garders" to keep them tighter.

Suzan and Art June 17, 2020 I bought a mattress from a regular store.... a Queen.  Then bought sheets at Costco.... they don't fit either... too long.  I don't know.....

Bill and Joanne Boley June 17, 2020 Maybe RV king sheets.
Google RVSheets or try on Amazon.
Be prepared anything RV is usually pricey.

pokeysRVadventures June 17, 2020 I use home sheets on my RV king bed also. The fitted one goes down a little far but the other's fit great.

LarandSus June 17, 2020 We bought very reasonably priced RV sheets on Amazon and really like them. I believe they have a 10-inch pocket.

Todd Ramsay June 17, 2020 Cougar since 2 years ago has been putting in 70 x 80 king mattresses. Try to find the next size up from those measurements.

LarandSus June 18, 2020 This is an example where it would have been helpful if the poster had filled out their profile. We don't know how old Shamiscamper's rig is because they didn't say and the profile doesn't say.

CathieandEddie June 20, 2020 We have a Queen size in our camper and I bought “RV Queen” and they were still too big. I bought full and they fit great. I even have an egg crate topper and a mattress cover on the mattress and the fitted full sheet fits great.

M & C Rving June 24, 2020 We have an RV King.  I use the Cal King home sheets.  Like others have mentioned, the fitted sheet (and mattress topper) are a bit long,  The regular King sheets were too wide and more of a problem.

Always Happy Campers June 25, 2020 Absolutely I’ve always used regular sheets and comforters/blankets for all of the beds in our RVs. Never purchased specialty sheets.
