First remodel was to take out the bunks and install mini washer dryer. Not the all in one, but seperate units. Next remodel was to add storage under the jack couch. Newest remodel is this sliding pantry next to the fridge. It originally had a deep narrow pantry that I could never find anything. I'm so fortunate to have such a handy hubby. Next project...remodel the enclosed car trailer into a 2nd bedroom!

I wish I was handy enough to change out my pantry like you guys did. Right now it's an opening about 8" wide and 15 to 18" deep floor to ceiling, with cabinet on top and 2 very small drawers on bottom. A lot of wasted space. Did he buy the unit at a cabinet store?

Just when I’m convinced I’m getting pretty handy at do-it-yourself projects, someone like this serves up a big helping of humble pie by posting a truely awesome remodel! Great work (but you’re ruining the curve for the rest of us)!
Jim & Sharon HamJune 24, 2020Three great ideas. Thanks for sharing with photos. We are always surprised by the amount of storage space poorly used by the RV-makers. Ours had three spaces empty and just blocked off with paneling because the factory was too lazy to us... moreThree great ideas. Thanks for sharing with photos. That is something I've noticed. The older RVs like late 1990s early 2000s have better storage than the newer ones. I have a very small pantry that ia 5" wide. Been thinking I'd make some boxes for them tho I'd rather have a slideout like the one in the picture.

Plus he found some empty space above that s so he put another slide in and built a door for that. less

It is! I would have liked sides along each one but I figure I could mount little rails along them...somehow.

He also made me spice racks. Each one holds 5 or 6 spices. Of course, I had to give up some space in my over-the-sink cabinet but every bit of space you can glean from somewhere counts!
