Bythebuffalo July 12 The outlets in your rv are AC A D only work when you are plugged into shore power or have an inverter installed.

Misty and Steve Monroe July 12 I have an inverter, it works the lights in the RV, and supposed to work the fridge, but that is not working right now.

Serenity 2000 July 12 You can have an inverter without installing solar. Just make sure you have enough batteries to makeit worthwhile. One lead acid won't do it.

MRJohnston July 12 My Class A  fridge plug is not wired to run off of the inverter, is runs on shore power or if not plugged in, on LP gas.  That said, all of my plugs run off the inverter EXCEPT the fridge.

Misty and Steve Monroe July 12 Ours is definitely wired to the inverter because when we purchased it, it didn’t come on and the dealer said the factory wired to microwave instead of the fridge to the inverter, so they fixed it and it worked for a year and now it isn’t...

B and B July 12 Well, can you get to the back of the frig and the plug for it?  I can access mine by taking the original cover for the RV frig off.  If you can do this then find the plug for the frig and plug it directly into a 120 extension cord, does it work ...  more

Road Daug July 12 you might only have one outlet that will work off your battery its only one twelve volt battery and the lights might have a switch  to use on the 12 volt system but each unit is different try owners manual.

John T July 12 Misty and Steve, the standard 120 Volt 15 Amp receptacles in the RV are usually/typically fed from the RV shore power cord and distribution system HOWEVER if an Inverter is used, "some" receptacles might have been connected to the In...  more

MRJohnston July 12 Is anything working off the inverter?  Maybe flipped the breaker on the inverter itself?

Misty and Steve Monroe July 13 We were thinking if we needed to replace if we went with the Xanterax, then we wouldn’t have to replace the inside console, but thank you for the advice.  Ours is almost 2 years old and is still under warranty but my husband refuses to take back to d...  more

John T July 13 Misty and Steve, PS I just got another e mail from Natures who made my Inverter. I located one small circuit board that had the push to start micro switch and a connector and is where I suspect the problem is. They say they can not sell me a replacement b...  more

Misty and Steve Monroe July 13 Our electrician friend called Xanterax today, and told them what the inverter was doing, and all they said was that it was bad, and we needed a new one!  So now we are going through our extended warranty agreement and taking it to a dealer to replace it.
