    Bev Goble Why didn't I think of that? Tips and Tricks:
    July 25, 2020I have a 2003 Kountry Star I brought in October , I'm trying to change out the rod in the water heater but its rusted on. Doesn't look like its been replaced in a long time and suggestions how to losen it up?

      the circle family July 25, 2020 yes stray some dw40 on it and wait about a hour and try again is it  metal  nut?

      pokeysRVadventures July 25, 2020 I had the same issue. Get a small pipe, 3-4 feet long (breaker bar) place it over the ratchet handle and it'll break loose. Replace with one with hard plastic threads available on Amazon. No more rusting.

      Holder Family July 25, 2020 A good quality penatrating oil. Soak and try if no results try again. But be careful putting on a cheater and using it

      Dan-n-Jo July 25, 2020 Just me, but I have used 'Liquid Wrench' penetrating oil for years, spray on leave it for several minutes then spray again. It does have a strong odor but it also works very well. Best of luck. https://tinyurl.com/y27smcho
