July 31, 2020We're looking at getting rid of our sofa and putting in one that has recliners. Recpro has what we want. Has anyone replaced their sofa?

Jimmy & Connie Taylor July 31, 2020 Our coach doesn't have slides but wanted the theater seating. I bought on from a couple that changed there's out for recliners. Installed and didn't have enough room to get around it. Bummer. Took it out and put the couch back in. Be sure and check the si...  more

Habadabeer July 31, 2020 We replaced our “pleather” sleeper sofa with a fabric reclining love seat from RecPro. It has a center console with 2 cup holders and a storage compartment and we couldn’t be happier with it! It was delivered in less than a week, was super e...  more

RVgirls July 31, 2020 I would like to do away with my jack-knife sofa and replace with some form of recliners. But, the furnace unit is under the sofa 😩. If anyone thinks there’s a way to do this, without a complete rebuild, I’d love to know!!

Dan-n-Jo August 1, 2020 RecPro is what we ordered, changed our jack-knife-sofa for theater seating. Ours came in 6 pieces and fits exactly what we had. Very happy with it.

Judy and the Jarhead July 31, 2020 We replaced our theater seats with a wonderful power reclining leather loveseat from costco. I have not sat on any RV furniture that was comfortable. They have a matching sofa but we wanted tables on each side so we opted for the loveseat. It’s $899.00 in...  more

Habadabeer July 31, 2020 When buying “regular” furniture from some place like Costco, make sure you can fit it through the door of your RV. Some units don’t break down, and pieces of some that do are still too large to get inside. That’s one benefit of RecPro, theirs are all made...  more

DavFin August 6, 2020 J&J, I followed the link to the Costco listing and see in the specs that this is shipped as a single piece.  Did you have any problems getting it into the RV?  Also, they jacked the price up $100...I guess your mention has been driving online tr...  more

Judy and the Jarhead July 31, 2020 Absolutely correct. Our door is 30” so that helped. I looked high and low for something comfortable, heavy duty and with the dimensions to fit through our door. I also refused to buy something I could not sit in first. This loveseats backs come off and th...  more

Lisa DeSalvio July 31, 2020 We love our rec pro recliner that replaced the jack knife sofa in our coach. It’s nice because it can hug the wall and still recline if needed.

Tim & Crista July 31, 2020 We replaced an air bed sofa with side-by-side rec pro recliner’s and we love them.

LarandSus July 31, 2020 Check the weight difference to be sure the rig can handle it safely.

Quig July 31, 2020 I bought a bunch of RecPro stuff when I remolded. It was great for the 1st year but the faux leather started pealing off the surface. I am not very happy with the material quality at all!!!

LarandSus July 31, 2020 The same thing happened with our flexsteel furniture. There have been a lot of discussions about it. There was a bad batch of fabric that affected multiple RV brands.

Jimmy & Connie Taylor August 1, 2020 My Driver and Sidekick chairs are the only leather we Have. I use leather conditioner on ours. The seats are original on our 1999.

DavFin August 6, 2020 I was looking at RecPro seats online a couple of days ago and noticed a disturbingly high number of unhappy customers whose leather cracked and peeled.  I didn't check the dates of the reviews.  Do you believe this problem has been resolved?

Chasitylyn July 31, 2020 We bought 2 trifolds and put them in our 5th Wheel in place of the theater seating and recliners.  We wanted sleep space.  We got them cheap from RV Bargain Furniture Barn in Goshen Indiana and they are nice so far.

Dejavela July 31, 2020 In our old camper, we replaced the jackknife with 2 Euro recliners. That's the only thing I wish we could've kept. They were soooo comfy.

Dan-n-Jo August 1, 2020 Habadabeer talking about the door size, we were looking at replacing the refrigerator with an apartment size residential model. Several places, then the manufacturer state that it can be done. We just need to take out our passenger side window (class A) ...  more

Habadabeer August 1, 2020 I’d be so nervous about breaking the glass. I’ve watched 2 or 3 videos of people changing the little window in their doors. Every one of them almost dropped that little pane!

LorieM August 7, 2020 Most fridges u can take the door off. Would that make it less then the 33” needed to go thru door?
    • Norm & Sharon B
JoeAndSandy August 1, 2020 We want to do the same thing.
