September 20, 2020Please help! First time Camper! I just bought a 2018, gently used sonic lite camper. I get power to the camper when it’s plugged in to the campsite, but I do not get power from the battery or when it is only plugged into my truck. I am showing power to th...  more

Mytmo777 September 20, 2020 By not getting power from batteries, do you mean no electrical power to the outlets or no lights are working in the unit? Because if you mean no power to the outlets, that’s normal. You won’t get electrical power when you’re only running on batteries. You...  more

ABT September 20, 2020 The exterior trailer lights work (like the brake lights and blinkers), but the interior lights do not work. Nothing inside works at all when plugged into the truck. And we’ve tried 4 different tow vehicles to make sure that wasn’t the problem.

Craig and Kim Parker September 20, 2020 Mytmo777 is correct. The interior lights should be 12 volt and work off of the battery. It you want electricity to outlets, microwave, etc. you would need a few more batteries and an Inverter with solar panels or as mentioned by Mytmo777, a generator to p...  more

JoGal September 21, 2020 Yup I had same problem and GFI in the bathroom was tripped by accident when I plugged something in and hit it with my finger. Didn’t know it controlled lights elsewhere

Rick & Dorothy Myers September 20, 2020 There is most likely a battery shut off switch ( probably located near battery) that turns 12 volt power on and off to the coach. Inside lights are usually 12 volt as well as heater fan, refrigerator controls , etc.

J&S DuBois September 20, 2020 I'm new to rv myself and had the same issue after 2 days of trouble shooting 🤣🤣🤣 I found the switch mine is a large rotary toggle as you come in the door

pwright11 September 21, 2020 check for a reset near the battery on the positive side and see if there is current getting past. Some have a reset button, some don't. About 5 or 6 dollars at rv dealer. https://www.amazon.ca/MonkeyJack-Trailer-Circuit-Breaker-Auto-Reset/dp/B077P9HJZ9

Donnie113 September 21, 2020 We have a small motor home, there is a switch we turn on to turn the lights on when we use the battery power. Maybe you could google your model and or make to see if they have a manual. Yours is really quite new so you would think there would be a switch....  more
