      Glenn Blake-Lobb November 1, 2020 I use a heated hose. Depending on where we are cover the faucet. I also use an inline filter that i wrap with insulation tape.

      Cruisrte66 November 1, 2020 I've found the pre made hoses expensive and less durable .. but easier to handle if you move frequently. Pre made seems to last for one to two seasons .. while the home made one (at half the cost) allows me to replace the hose and use the same heat tape ...  more

      Jmdumont November 1, 2020 My husband made his own with foam and a heat tape that worked pretty good. He had a 5th wheel with all the tanks enclosed in the “basement “ and if it was really cold he would put a small heater in to be sure nothing would freeze

      Rich & Pat Tardell November 1, 2020 Fill onboard tank, disconnect hose, pressure regulator, etc.  No need to worry about freezing if you lose power.

        Habadabeer November 1, 2020 That works IF your tank is heated and IF you don’t loose power. I’d rather replace a burst hose than a burst tank!

      ACDC2 November 2, 2020 We use heat tape, as well as we put pool noodles over (just cut slot through the pool noodle to slide over hose) for extra insulation.
