Removed the doors and shelf, but didn’t want to loose all that storage by simply mounting it directly....  more

Canadian Hellie November 19, 2020 I doubt it; our 2015 Reflection had the fireplace under the t.v. very similar to the above set-up.

Habadabeer November 19, 2020 I’m pretty sure @Canadian Hellie is right. The fan blows the hot air straight forward, and the air is actually only noticeably hot to the touch within about 8” or so.

Good for taking the edge off while saving propane.

Dave&Jo November 19, 2020 We have had a TT and a 5th wheel that came with built in fireplaces. Both were directly under the TV, so I don't think it will be a problem.

Gloria Handley November 19, 2020 Love it... we have 3 drawers under our TV that I would hate to lose though.  We got a portable heater that has the fire place look but either way, it really takes the chill off the air in the morning until I start the coffee and breakfast.  Really love wh...  more

Janna & Terry November 19, 2020 @Habadabeer. Your results really look great from your photos! Does your fireplace/shelf lock in place for travel?

Habadabeer November 19, 2020 I re-purposed the slide hardware from an old filing cabinet. They each have a small catch (similar to what came installed on the kitchen drawers to keep them secure during travel. I’m hoping that’ll be enough to keep them closed. If not, I can always add ...  more

Tom & Kristin November 20, 2020 nice!  We have a fireplace in our Host Mammoth and use it extensively when on shore power.  I also use it (and a small basement heater) when I need to de-winterize before departure  in freezing weather.

Habadabeer November 22, 2020 I picked it up at an RV dealer from their parts department. Sometimes they have to replace something under warranty when a new rig comes in with some small cosmetic damage. It doesn’t cost them anything but the labor to replace, so they price the “scratch...  more
