Corlis & David King December 31, 2020 It makes the lifestyle so affordable especially if you’re full timers. Some of the parks are in need of upgrades but many are very nice. We have used our TT membership extensively.

JZL December 31, 2020 Pro: saves us a TON of money for camping fees...being able to stay “for free” after dues each year/upfront costs...it has more than paid for itself within the first 6 months. Also, being able to stay up to 21 nights at most parks is great when you want t...  more

The Broom's December 31, 2020 We are new to Thousand Trails and just now staying at our second TT spot in Florida.  The campgrounds (so far) are older, and not close to being level.  In fact, at this park, by the time we were level, our bottom step was about three feet to the ground. ...  more

Travelinlady December 31, 2020 We enjoyed ours for over 4 years. I like the fact that if I make reservation I cancel without penalty or if I leave early it doesn't cost me anything. Most of the parks we've been to are nice. Are they 5 star no but some have been updated and are very nic...  more

KramVan December 31, 2020 I am thinking of trying the Pass and going to Florida.  Just hesitant traveling 1300 miles and being disappointed.  But I guess I just need to go for it.    :)
I also read where TT will bill members for some contingencies every year. Is that true ?

Corlis & David King December 31, 2020 Florida has three TT parks all of which we like. Orlando is huge, over 1000 sites, with lots of amenities and is one of our favorites of the dozens we’ve visited. Three Flags is much smaller but very nice. Some people don’t like Peace River because some s...  more

Chick & Debby December 31, 2020 We joined Thousand Trails in 1997.  At that time, only members and folks looking to join were allowed in the parks.  The parks were in fairly decent shape.  Now, many parks are deteriorated and in desperate need of repair.  We upgraded 2 times, totally ou...  more

TallyTravelers December 31, 2020 I agree completely with Chick & Debbie.  We bought our membership in 2003 from TT directly and have 'upgraded' twice for a total investment of about $14,235 plus our annual dues.  It is not worth that price tag unless you are spending 100+ nights a year. ...  more

Brenda and Bob - Taking a Fork in the Road January 1, 2021 We simply have a Camping Pass plus the Trails Collection (Encore) costing $900 for the year. While in TX over the winter, we will stay in 3 TT parks and 3 Encore parks for a total of 63 days.  If this is all we used it for the year, the nightly cost...  more

Andy F January 3, 2021 The cost of entry is a little steep if you purchase one of the upgraded memberships but as others have indicated it more than pays for itself if you use it a lot. I'm a full-timer and in 2020 I spent 98% of the year in TT parks up and down the state of Ca...  more
