February 1Following up on twin2’s water problem. We recently bought a 2015 Itasca Cambria. I started to periodically notice water dripping just in front of the right rear tires. I’m fairly handy, and have looked at every water line and drain pipe I can get my hands...  more

David Leslie Jasper & JoJo February 1 Does your fridge have an ice maker?  The small, plastic water line to our ice maker sprung a leak a few years ago and I put in a female-female inline connector where I cut out the split water line. Also, does your water pump cycle per...  more

Ken and Kelly February 1 Dave I found something similar. I had a leak that I didn't see at first, but it was leaking out of the wet bay floor - it basically just found a way out not necessarily at or near the actual leak. I ended up finding multiple issues contri...  more

MRJohnston February 1 In addition to what David said, the water may be running alone the frame, wires, plumbing etc until it has nowhere to go except down. Check under your sinks, shower, toilet, water heater, anything that has water, including holding tanks, etc.    Also, che...  more

Ken and Kelly February 1 If it ends up coming from inside the coach, make sure you check under the flooring. It always seems to get water under the flooring so it isn't noticed above, but underneath it stays wet for a long time easily and starts to mold and the rot the subfloor....  more

Jim & Sharon Ham February 1 It is a wild shot, but our roof AC drains in a tube behind the frig and drips out by the rear wheel.  Depending on where you are, AC may not be part of  the picture now.

David Leslie Jasper & JoJo February 1 They're in Las Vegas... high today mid 60s.  I doubt they had their AC ON.  But... our three ACs drain similarly.

Dan-n-Jo February 2 Ours also drains like that, and at times, it will drain either a little forward or rearward depending on the leveling of our RV.

MartiL February 1 If there is water, and there is a pitch or a downward path - the water will find a way!  I learned that in my stick and brick.

Becca Ray February 1 Is your fresh water fill tube/opening anywhere near your ‘dripping/wet spot’ location?

Nbrhapsody February 2 We are about ready to conduct an experiment of shutting off all water into the RV for a day to see what happens. Then we will not use any drains for a day. That should tell us whether it is somewhere in the pressurized input, or in the drains before getti...  more

Jim & Sharon Ham February 3 Good idea.  Please report back and let us know how this goes.  We all have water leaks from time to time.

Nbrhapsody February 3 OK, we’ve gone 24 hours with the water input turned off and faucets depressurized.  During that time we have dumped a LOT of water manually down the drains and no leakiing has been detected. Tomorrow we hook up the water hose again and see what happens. I...  more

MartiL February 2 Well, I found water this morning.  I thought I had found it about a month or six weeks ago, but I didn't see it.  I dried it up and didn't see anymore again.  THAT was because it moved to a different corner and I really didn't check all that good.  I thou...  more

Ron Larson February 3 I found the same thing on my 2015 Thor Hurricane.  Also I had water coming out from under the refrigerator.  I first thought of condensate but after a lot of trouble shooting discovered it was coming from the kitchen sink drain line.  In fact it was from ...  more

SNOOPY1 February 4 Ya those slinkey drain lines are not at all compatible with standard plumbing drain lines. i built a stainless tube that fit in the flexey line so i could actually tighten it, that was 2 years ago still ok!
    • Nbrhapsody
Ron Larson February 4 TSNOOPY1, that is a good idea if you can get to it.  The only way i could see to do that would be to remove the refrigerator.  I had only about a 6 or 7 inch opening to reach a fitting about a little over a foot inside the slide out.  I could not even ful...  more

Nbrhapsody February 4 So many RV systems seem to not be designed to be repaired after assembly. I feel like a pretzel trying to work on these things. 😎

Ken and Kelly February 4 Do you have an Anderson Valve in the wet bay? I found my Anderson (Kantleak) valve leaking, my wet bay is right in front of the rear wheels. The originals are plastic and they use a lot of flexible hoses. I had at least two flexible hose with slow drip...  more

MartiL February 4 Ken and Kelly - my "thing" like in your picture is underneath my queensize bed next to the fuse box!  To empty my water holding tank valve is under there also, no release valve on the outside.  Thor did it!
