MunzieWhy didn't I think of that? Tips and Tricks:
February 7, 2021Is an sun shade worth it for the awning to keep it cooler and shadier? We live in a hot area for the summer months. Would a tarp work just as well? Looking for tips as have a hard time with the heat and often camp off grid so a/c can’t be used. Thankyou.

Kshipman February 7, 2021 We just got one and installed to our awning today after trying to sit outside in the heat in FL. and getting sun burned. We love it. Ordered from Amazon. Wish we had bought one way before now.

Denny & Barb February 8, 2021 Our awning will retract with the wind.  So, I do not attach anything to the awning.

SilverSport February 8, 2021 We made ours to attach to the awning, also added a mister line, works OK, pump not strong enough to get a fine mist

Jeff.Phillips February 21, 2021 I have a sun shade, one of those black mesh ones that you can see through and it attaches to the awning. If you choose to get one, I would suggest getting Awning Supports, something like pictured. I know the mesh screen may not seem like much, but if it s...  more
