The Real Millers March 31 Battle born are the gold standard for lithium batteries. 10 year warranty!

The Real Millers March 31 Did you have a residential fridge or a gas/AC/DC unit. If residential you might need more than two lithium batteries with only 2 panels.

The Real Millers March 31 We have 4 battle born batteries and 4 solar panels and go for days without starting the generator. I converted to residential fridge last year and will not be going back😜

Hellonwheels March 31 Battleborns are a good retail level choice. There are lots of YouTube videos about them. Cost per Kilowatt-hour hour is way lower over their lifespan, compared to older battery technology. That takes some of the pain out of the initial investment. Will Pr...  more

LarryA March 31 Kilowatts really have no place in a discussion about RVs. It is 1000 watts used for an hour at 120 volts. We are talking about low pressure 12 volt nominal.

BK March 31 If you carefully look at the online battery comparison sponsored by Battleborn and conducted in their lab you will see that 6V golf cart batteries beat the Lithium Battleborn on cost efficiency. It's not easy to see this because they do their best to hide...  more

LarryA March 31 Does your solar controller have a lithium setting? Does the setting match what the battery maker recommends?

Paul & Kay Legare April 1 Larry, 25 KVS refers to a specific trailer model produced by a company called back country. Not kilowatts.

John T March 31 Hi there Ocean, welcome aboard, congratulations on your purchase and plans. Of course only two panels (subject to watts) may not provide a great amount of energy harvest, but that's not your question, just saying.  Some gents like to ...  more

Chuck_N April 1 We have a 975W solar system charging 4 Lion Energy UT1300 105ah lithium batteries. They're about 20% less than the Battle Born, and we're very happy with them.

The Real Millers April 1 I bought mine from Battle Born direct at their black Friday sale.  Saved $200.00 a battery.  Had to get up at 5:00am to get them locked in as they only sell so many and when they are gone the price goes back to $999.00.  Good luck and get out there!

Robert & Tizo the dog April 1 I stuck with lead acid. Less than $100 for over 100 amps and 2-year warranty good at any Walmart. Even considering superiority of lithium, the cost per amp of storage is still many times that of lead acid.

The Real Millers April 1 I got tired of replacing the lead acid batteries every two years and checking the acid every 30 days. Worth the investment to me. It’s a tough pill to swallow though when you do decide to go lithium.
