      Bill Joyce (and wife Diane Melde) July 29, 2021 We have had both Blue Ox and Roadmaster and liked them both.  Since we are based close to  Roadmaster we had our latest towing setup done at their factory in Vancouver WA (close to Portland OR).  Blue Ox is in Nebraska.  I would find who in your area sets...  more

        JackienScott July 29, 2021 Thanks we're in NC at the moment. I've heard UHaul but not sure about the front towing set up with them. But now I know what to google.

      JLlis July 29, 2021 I just found my baseplate installer through the blue ox website.  I went with a welding company as the normal camping places wanted to charge a ton of money.  My setup is a blue ox baseplate/tow bar, and I installed a Stay In Play Duo brake system

        JackienScott July 29, 2021 Yep called a Campers Inn and they tried to tell me they didn't work with old brake setups on RV's and wanted to rewire the whole RV plus the Car. So that's not the place I want to have this done ,ain't that rich. LOL! I've heard good things about the Stay...  more

      JLlis July 29, 2021 At least you got a call back from Campers Inn.  Camping world wanted $6K.  I ended up doing it for half of that with some leg work.
